Job summary

EY is seeking a full-time software developer to join the Digital Asset Research Center in the US. You will engage in full-stack development, research digital assets, and support assurance services for clients in the blockchain ecosystem.

The role emphasizes collaboration with auditors, engineers, and consultants across regions. You will work in a fast-growing, hybrid environment with opportunities for personal growth, client interaction, and exposure to leading blockchain technologies.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related prior work experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Proven experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development (Node.js, Express, React, Angular).
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity or other protocols (Hyperledger, Solana).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Database technologies including NoSQL and SQL.
• Git or other version control systems.
• Container technologies such as Docker or Podman.
• DevOps and cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience in Agile teams and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and have reliable transportation; driver's license recommended.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to design and implement testing techniques for financial statements relating to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative solutions for client solutions and core products.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging practices and apply them where appropriate.
• Collaborate with diverse client-engagement teams in a dynamic, inclusive environment.
