Job summary

EY is seeking a skilled software professional to join the Digital Asset Research Center. You will research the latest public blockchains and smart contracts, and contribute to assurance services for clients transacting in digital assets.

You will collaborate with auditors, developers and technology consultants to deliver innovative testing tools and solutions while supporting client engagements across the US.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related prior work experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Proficient in modern web development and blockchain tooling (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React/Angular).

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to design and implement techniques to test financial statement assertions relating to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative solutions to client solutions and core products.
• Keep up-to-date on emerging leading practices in this fast-growing area and identify where they can be applied.
• Work effectively with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
