Job summary

EY is seeking a digitally focused software professional to join the Digital Asset Research Center in a hybrid role across US locations, including NYC. You will research public blockchains, smart contracts and digital assets while supporting assurance services for clients in this disruptive domain.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of application development experience, strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Solidity skills, plus experience with testing, databases, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related prior work experience in application development
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps)
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Express, React/Angular
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity and other protocols; testing frameworks Jest/Mocha; databases (NoSQL/SQL)
• Git or similar version control; Docker/Podman; DevOps and cloud providers (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Experience in Agile teams; strong communication; travel willingness; valid transportation to EY sites

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics
• Collaborate with financial auditors to design and implement testing techniques for financial statements
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative solutions for client solutions and core products
• Keep up-to-date on leading practices and apply new methods where appropriate
• Work with diverse client teams to foster an innovative and inclusive environment
