Job summary

EY is seeking a Digital Asset Research Center software engineer in the US to research public blockchains, smart contracts and digital assets, and collaborate with auditors to test financial assertions. You will design and implement techniques to support assurance services for clients in the digital asset ecosystem.

The role involves cross-regional collaboration, deep technical exploration, and delivering tools and methodologies to address complex risks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related work experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and dApps.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript stack (Node.js, Express, React/Angular).

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with financial auditors to design and implement testing for financial assertions related to digital assets.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative client solutions and core product enhancements.
• Stay updated on leading practices and apply new techniques to client engagements.
