Job summary

Ernst & Young (EY) is seeking a Senior Blockchain Developer for FSO Audit to join our Digital Asset Research Center in the US. You will research public blockchains, smart contracts and digital assets while collaborating with auditors and technology consultants to deliver Assurance services for clients dealing with digital assets.

You’ll design and implement techniques to test financial statements and build tools supporting audit-readiness across regions, while growing your expertise in emerging

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related prior work experience in application development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development (Node.js, Express, React, Angular).
• Experience with Ethereum/Solidity or Hyperledger/Solana."
• Testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha.
• Database technologies including NoSQL and SQL.
• Git, Docker/Podman, and cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack software development including front-end and back-end.
• Create technical documentation and memos for complex digital asset topics.
• Collaborate with auditors to design techniques testing digital asset assertions.
• Solve novel technical problems and provide innovative client solutions.
