Job summary

Albert Einstein College of Medicine in The Bronx seeks a Senior Licensing Associate to drive licensing and collaborations with industry, entrepreneurs and investors. You will manage a diverse life science portfolio across the full lifecycle of technology management, translating science into commercial value.

The role requires strong negotiation, IP knowledge, and ability to work with faculty and external partners to close strategic deals and advance Einstein’s 2030 Acceleration initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree and 3–5 years experience in academic and/or commercial biotech/pharma.
• Experience in contract negotiations is a must.
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property law and biomedical tech transfer.

Responsibilities

• Increase Einstein's licensing and collaborative relationships with industry partners and investors.
• Manage a portfolio of life science technologies across the full lifecycle of technology management.
• Identify, solicit and evaluate invention disclosures for commercial potential.
• Draft, negotiate and manage license terms and agreements, including equity licensing where applicable.
• Lead negotiations on high-value exclusive licenses and collaborate with investigators and management.
• Develop and execute strategies for development and commercialization of technologies.
