Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development, clinical studies, and business decisions in a regulated healthcare environment. You will design studies, develop analysis plans, analyze complex data in R or SAS, and communicate insights to cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Statistics or Biostatistics with 3+ years in regulated settings; PhD preferred. You will contribute to study protocols, technical reports, and regulatory documentation

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field; 3+ years in regulated healthcare or medical device settings.
• Experience applying statistical methods to product development, clinical research, or trials.
• Proficiency in R and/or SAS for analyses; ability to document and validate analyses.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong report writing and presentation of statistical findings.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies supporting product development and business decisions.
• Develop and review study protocols and regulatory documents.
• Create and maintain statistical analysis plans; consult on complex situations as needed.
• Program, document, validate, and maintain statistical code in R and/or SAS.
• Apply statistics to address standard and complex analytical challenges.
• Produce clear statistical reports for internal and external audiences.
• Present findings to stakeholders and contribute to publications or conferences.
• Stay current with evolving regulatory requirements and methodologies.
