Job summary
BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development and clinical studies in a regulated healthcare environment. The role partners with cross-functional teams to design studies, create analysis plans, and translate statistical findings into actionable business recommendations.
The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics with experience in R and/or SAS, and a track record in regulated settings.
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field
- 3+ years in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environment
- Experience applying statistical methods to product development or clinical research
- Proficiency in programming, documenting, and validating analyses in R and/or SAS
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies to support product development and business decisions
- Develop and review study protocols, CRFs, and regulatory documents
- Develop and maintain statistical analysis plans and code in R and/or SAS
- Apply appropriate statistical methods to standard and complex challenges
- Prepare statistical reports and technical documentation for diverse audiences
- Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to publications or conferences
