Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development, clinical studies, and business decisions within a regulated healthcare environment. You will design studies, develop analysis plans, analyze complex data with R or SAS, and translate findings into actionable insights.

A Master’s or PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics is required, with 3+ years in regulated settings and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Biostatistics, or quantitative field.
3+ years of experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environment.
Experience applying statistical methods to product development, clinical research, and/or clinical trials.
Proficiency in programming, documenting, and validating analyses using R and/or SAS.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies supporting product development and business decisions.
Develop and review study protocols and regulatory documents.
Develop and maintain statistical analysis plans; consult for complex analyses.
Program, document, validate, and maintain statistical code in R/SAS.
Prepare statistical reports and technical documentation for stakeholders.
Present findings to cross-functional teams and contribute to publications.
