Job summary

BD is seeking a Statistician/Biostatistician to support product development, clinical studies, and regulatory objectives in a regulated healthcare environment. You will design studies, create analysis plans, and translate complex data into actionable insights using R or SAS.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics, with 3+ years in regulated settings and strong programming skills. You’ll collaborate across functions and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in regulated healthcare, life sciences, or medical device environments.
• Experience applying statistics to product development or clinical research.
• Proficient in R and/or SAS with reproducible research practices.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, analyze, and interpret studies for product development.
• Develop and review study protocols and regulatory docs.
• Maintain statistical analysis plans and provide consultations.
• Program, validate, and maintain code in R and/or SAS.
• Apply statistical methodologies to analytical challenges.
• Prepare concise statistical reports for diverse audiences.
• Present findings to stakeholders and contribute to publications.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and best practices.
