Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in North Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Scientist I to join the Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) Process Development group. You will design and perform ADC conjugation and purification experiments, analyze data, and support process characterization, tech transfer, and regulatory submissions.

The role requires a strong technical background, effective communication, and cross-functional collaboration with Analytical, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education; Master’s Degree or equivalent education; PhD, with varying experience requirements.
• Candidate must possess strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with ADC processes and analytical methods is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ADC conjugation and purification operations from lab to pilot scales.
• Design and perform experiments; analyze results from ADC processes.
• Author publications or patents and mentor others as needed.
