Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, bioengineering, chemical engineering, or related field.
• MBA or advanced scientific degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in product management, product marketing, business development, applications, or commercial strategy in life sciences or biopharma tools.
• Experience with affinity chromatography, chromatography consumables, sample preparation, magnetic beads, immunocapture, purification media, LC-MS workflows, biologics characterization, or bioprocess purification.
• Proven ability to define product strategy, build business cases, and influence development priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complexity into customer value.

Responsibilities

• Define market opportunities, segments, use cases, and unmet needs across biopharma workflows.
• Develop market requirements, product requirements, target profiles, and business cases for new products.
• Collaborate with R&D and external partners to translate needs into differentiated concepts.
• Lead alpha and beta testing collaborations.
• Create value propositions, personas, and launch messaging for key segments.
• Lead go-to-market planning, training, and field deployment.
• Represent Waters at customers and conferences to present technical information and gather feedback.
• Monitor competition, collect customer feedback, and refine product strategy.
• Build competitive intelligence across affinity consumables and related technologies.
• Coordinate with market segments to connect affinity consumables to Waters solutions.
