Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Research Scientist for Biopharma Process Development to oversee upstream and downstream activities and focus on technical transfer to CDMOs. You will collaborate with internal CMC teams and senior leadership to ensure on-time, high-fidelity execution across programs.

Candidate will communicate project milestones, identify risks, and work with QA/regulatory partners to meet global standards, including transfer to 3rd party facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with upstream or downstream process development for biotech products.
• Experience managing external CDMOs or CDMO projects.
• Experience in a regulated environment; GMP knowledge desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of process transfer activities for biotechnology products to internal and external CDMOs.
• Manage relationships with sending/receiving site SMEs, project leaders, and tech transfer leads.
• Author, review, and edit technical documents, protocols, and reports in GMP context.
