Job summary

Elanco, a global animal health leader, seeks an Analytical Scientist – Large Molecule to drive development, validation, and transfer of chromatographic and LC/MS methods for biologics. You will partner across discovery, bioprocess, formulation, and quality teams to ensure robust, compliant analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant science (analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, chemical engineering, or related).
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in biotechnology/biopharmaceuticals focusing on large-molecule characterization.
• Proven track record developing/validating HPLC/UPLC, electrophoretic, and LC/MS methods for biologics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize chromatographic, electrophoretic, and LC/MS methods for proteins and vaccines.
• Lead method validation, verification, qualification, and tech transfer across sites and CRO/CDMO partners.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with GMP/regulatory expectations in all workflows.
