Job summary

Elanco Indianapolis seeks a Technical Transfer Lead to orchestrate pharmaceutical transfer activities from development labs to manufacturing sites worldwide. You will bridge Global Technical Development and Manufacturing & Quality, guiding cross-functional teams to meet milestones on time and within budget.

You will actively manage technical risks, regulatory considerations, and transfer plans while maintaining strong relationships with internal groups and external partners.

Qualifications

• Education: BS, MS, or PhD in a related scientific field (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering).
• Language: Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Regulatory: Solid understanding of global regulatory (CMC) requirements for veterinary pharmaceutical products.
• External Partnering: Experience with CDMOs is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Process Transfer Team and coordinate GTD, M&Q, and external partners.
• Balance technical innovation with supply chain requirements across global sites.
• Develop and own the Process Transfer Plan with risk assessments and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory (CMC) requirements.
