Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-7 years Biomedical Engineering Technology experience.
• Ability to interpret electronic circuit diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and performance assurance inspections on medical electronic equipment.
• Test and calibrate components using manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and code requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies and maintain complete documentation.
• Repair and replace complex biomedical electronic equipment and systems; install and adjust equipment.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions with accuracy; provide mentoring to other BMETs.
