Mass General Brigham seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician to install, calibrate, repair, and inspect medical devices across clinical and research settings in Weymouth, MA. Onsite work with collaboration across teams, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing to device evaluations and upgrades to ensure reliable equipment

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Biomedical Technology required.
• 2-3 years experience as biomedical equipment technician.
• Demonstrates ability to test and troubleshoot medical devices using specialized tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with team and customers at all levels.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical biomedical safety principles.

Responsabilités

• Inspects newly acquired medical devices for safety and function; assigns control numbers and labels.
• Performs preventive/scheduled maintenance on medical devices.
• Responds to equipment problems in clinical or research areas and troubleshoots.
• Provides information for development of testing protocols and participates in device evaluations.
• Instructs staff on testing, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair procedures.
