• Associate degree or equivalent in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• CBET certification preferred; other relevant certifications encouraged.
• 7+ years of progressive biomedical equipment service experience with leadership ability.
• Strong organizational, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead workload coordination and provide day-to-day guidance to Biomedical Services staff.
• Serve as senior technical escalation resource for complex equipment issues.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure preventive maintenance and service quality.
• Mentor staff, onboard new hires, and support competency development.
• Collaborate with management on staffing, process adherence, and documentation quality.
• Coordinate with external service providers and manage vendor communications.
• Provide technical leadership during equipment installations, upgrades, and recalls.
• Support regulatory compliance and quality management system requirements.
• Participate in on-call, after-hours, and emergency response activities.
