TRIMEDX is seeking a Biomedical Technician III to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of highly complex biomedical equipment. The BMET III advises clinicians on safe operation and helps develop equipment specifications and department improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
• Complex computer skills including system administration, error code interpretation, hard-drive maintenance, power-supply replacement, and networking concepts.
• Ability to integrate information from multiple sources.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills.
• Valid driver's license required; travel may be required depending on primary site.

Responsabilités

• Perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on highly complex and intricate biomedical equipment and systems.
• Repair, install, and calibrate highly complex and intricate biomedical equipment and systems.
• Inform supervisors of repair status, inspections, unusual equipment situations, and customer concerns.
• Work with and document subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery.
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Lead Service Operations Special Projects as assigned; travel to sites as needed for data collection and analysis.
