Job summary

The Biomedical Technician III (BMET III) at TRIMEDX installs, inspects, repairs, calibrates, and verifies performance of complex biomedical equipment in clinical settings. This role serves as an advisor to clinical staff and contributes to department improvement by mentoring associates, while upholding TriMedx core values of care, value, integrity, and meaningful change.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
• Strong computer skills including system administration, error code interpretation, and networking basics.
• Valid driver’s license required; travel may be extensive depending on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance assurance inspections, maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and verification procedures on complex biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate equipment; inform supervisors of repair status and unusual equipment situations.
• Coordinate activities of subcontractors, vendors, and external technicians to ensure quality service delivery.
• Mentor other associates and lead special projects in Service Operations as assigned.
• Travel to sites or collaborate with other associates for data collection and analysis.
