Qualifications

2-year technical/electronics degree or equivalent experience required. Waiver possible with TRIMEDX Trained Certification or equivalent biomedical cert.
CBET certification strongly preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
Travel may be required based on customer or business needs.

Responsibilities

Perform PA inspections, scheduled maintenance, ESI, and verification procedures on complex biomedical equipment.
Repair, install, and calibrate complex equipment.
Inform supervisors of repair status and any customer concerns.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery.
Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
Support Service Operations Special Projects as assigned.
Maintain equipment database accuracy: inventory, PA schedules, nomenclature, and service history.
Build and maintain customer relationships; discuss equipment status with clinicians.
Perform incoming inspections and manage inventory of medical devices.
