Job summary

GE HealthCare in Sacramento, CA, seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician to respond to service calls, diagnose and repair complex biomedical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain strong customer relations. The role may include acting as Site Leader and mentoring technicians.

You will lead field service activities, ensure compliance with GE policies, document actions and reports, and coordinate with hospital staff. A degree in engineering or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering or related field with 4+ years service experience.
• Equivalent military education with 4+ years service experience.
• HS Diploma/GED with 6+ years service experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, repair and perform PM on complex biomedical equipment.
• Lead others on GE policies, hospital protocol, and documentation.
