Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to respond to service calls, diagnose, repair and perform planned maintenance on basic biomedical equipment, delivering service excellence to customers.

Under supervision, evaluate equipment issues, perform repairs, complete PMs, follow GE policies, document actions, and maintain calibration of test equipment. You will collaborate with the local team and may participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in engineering or related field.
• Equivalent military education.
• GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program.
• High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years servicing electrical, electronics, IT or mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate basic customer biomedical equipment issues and perform repairs and PMs.
• Assist more experienced technicians on repairs.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and customers.
• Document all repair actions and complete reports.
• Maintain calibration and care of spares and tools.
