Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Biomedical Technician to service and repair complex medical equipment across assigned accounts. You will diagnose issues, perform PMs, and document actions to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, adherence to hospital protocols, and coordination with customers, vendors, and internal teams. On-call availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Analytical and communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
• Compliance with GEHC background checks, immunizations, and potential federal background checks.
• Structured, proactive communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls to diagnose and repair biomedical equipment.
• Perform planned maintenance (PM) and safety inspections.
• Document repair actions and submit reports as scheduled.
• Lead and assist technicians on repairs; coordinate with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with GE policies and hospital protocols and maintain spares and equipment.
