GE HealthCare is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to respond to service calls, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on basic biomedical equipment. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, documentation, and adherence to GE policies.

The successful candidate will work within a local team, may participate in on-call duty, and continuously enhance technical knowledge to comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Biomedical or Mechanical fields or related.
• Equivalent military education accepted.
• GEHC internship or Military Externship program participation.
• High School Diploma/GED + 2+ years servicing equipment.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate basic customer biomedical equipment issues, implement repairs, and perform PM and safety/environmental inspections.
• Assist more experienced technicians on basic and more complex repairs/resolution.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and customers.
• Follow GE policies, hospital protocol, and complete necessary documentation.
• Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow up.
