Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a biomedical equipment technician to respond to service calls, evaluate and diagnose basic equipment, and perform repairs and planned maintenance. The role aims to drive customer satisfaction through service excellence.

Under supervision, you will assess equipment issues, perform repairs, assist with PM and safety inspections, document actions, and maintain calibration, tools, and supplies while coordinating with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Degree or military equivalent; or GE intern program; or high school with 2+ years' service experience.
• Analytical and communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
• Compliance with GEHC background checks, immunization proof, and required safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate basic customer biomedical equipment issues, perform repairs and PM.
• Communicate with customers and teammates; maintain documentation and follow-up.
• Adhere to GE policies, hospital protocols, and safety/environmental requirements.
• Assist on-call rotations and ensure calibration and proper care of test equipment.
