Jefferson Health Plans is seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to provide advanced maintenance, testing, calibration, and repair of biomedical and clinical data/network systems across Jefferson facilities. You will perform PMs, QA inspections, and support equipment uptime.

Requirements include an associate degree or equivalent experience, with pretended preference for a bachelor’s in electronics/biomedical engineering and CBET certification.

Qualifications

• >=2 years of experience in electronic/electromechanical repairs; PM on biomedical equipment; capable of operating in ORs and with diagnostic ultrasound, fluoroscopy, dye injector service calls
• Proficient in maintaining device control records and using work order systems

Responsabilités

• Repairs, installs, inspects, troubleshoots, and calibrates equipment; completes PM workload
• Leads new equipment evaluations, acquisitions and installations
• Reviews incident reports to ensure patient safety
• Oversees external contractors/vendors for specialized equipment services
• Provides in-service training to clinical engineering staff
