Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 5 years of related experience required.
• High School Diploma with 5 years progressive biomedical repair experience may substitute.
• At least 4 years in electronics/electromechanical repair on biomedical equipment.
• Ability to respond to ultrasound, dye injector, and fluoroscopy service calls.
• Available for operating room service calls and multi-site visits.
• Proficient in maintaining device records and PM documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, and repair of biomedical equipment.
• Review incidents and ensure patient safety while restoring equipment.
• Lead new equipment evaluations, installations, and capital purchases.
• Provide in-service training to clinical engineering staff.
• Oversee work of external contractors/vendors for specialized equipment.
• Maintain device control records and documentation in the CMMS.
