Job summary

Environmental Research Group, LLC (ERG) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Biologist/Project Manager to join our Natural Resources Team! The Senior Biologist/Project Manager will develop and lead Natural Resources projects across the Nation.

They will also support and lead field surveys including habitat assessments and presence/absence surveys for listed species, wetland delineations, invasive species surveys, and biological compliance monitoring.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in environmental science, biology, or a related discipline (required).
• Master's degree or higher (preferred).
• 3+ years experience as Natural Resources Project Manager (required).
• 5+ years experience as Natural Resources Project Manager (preferred).
• Strong technical writing and QA/QC skills for deliverables and proposals (required).
• Proven ability to manage teams, coordinate with agencies, and maintain client relationships (required).
• Familiarity with biological resources, special-status species, and permitting across multiple states (required).
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork up to 40% with nationwide travel (required).
• Active first aid/CPR training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage Natural Resources scopes of work for small to large projects.
• Supervise, mentor, and coordinate field biologists.
• Coordinate scopes, schedules, budgets and compliance monitoring programs.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and agencies.
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders to align on goals and compliance.
• Provide guidance and technical direction to clients and team members.
• Direct and review QA/QC processes and ensure accurate logs and reports.
• Maintain accountability for deliverables, timelines, and quality.
• Adhere to ERG safety protocols and ethical standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
