Job summary

Environmental Research Group, LLC seeks a Senior Biologist/Project Manager to lead natural resources projects nationwide. You will manage scopes, budgets, and QA/QC while supervising field biologists and coordinating with agencies and clients. Up to 40% fieldwork and travel across the nation are expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in environmental science, biology, or related discipline (required)
• Master's degree or higher (preferred)
• 3+ years as Natural Resources Project Manager (required)
• 5+ years as Natural Resources Project Manager (preferred)
• Strong technical writing and QA/QC skills (required)
• Proven ability to manage teams, coordinate with agencies, and maintain client relationships (required)
• Familiarity with biological resources, special-status species, and permitting processes across multiple states (required)
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork up to 40% with nationwide travel (required)
• Active first aid/CPR training (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Manage Natural Resources scopes of work for small to large projects
• Supervise, mentor, and coordinate field biologists
• Coordinate scopes, schedules, budgets, compliance monitoring programs and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders to align on project goals and compliance requirements
• Provide guidance and technical direction to clients and team members during project execution
• Direct and review QA/QC processes and ensure accuracy of logs and reports
• Maintain accountability for project deliverables, timelines, and quality standards
• Adhere to ERG's safety protocols and ethical standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
