Job summary

Environmental Research Group, LLC (ERG) is seeking a motivated Senior Biologist/Project Manager to lead Natural Resources projects nationwide. The role includes field surveys, habitat assessments, presence/absence surveys for listed species, wetland delineations, invasive species surveys, and compliance monitoring.

Approximately 60% of the time is spent on computer-based work managing projects, proposals, and reports.

Qualifications

• Strong technical writing and QA/QC skills for deliverables and proposals.
• Proven ability to manage teams, coordinate with agencies, and maintain client relationships.
• Familiarity with biological resources, special-status species, and permitting processes across multiple states.
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork up to 40% of the time and travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Manage Natural Resources scopes of work for projects of various sizes.
• Supervise, mentor, and coordinate field biologists.
• Coordinate scopes, schedules, budgets and compliance monitoring programs.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders to align on goals and compliance.
