Job summary

Sanofi in Framingham, MA is seeking a Bioassay Development Senior Scientist with strong cell and molecular biology expertise to advance analytical methods for early and late-stage programs. You will join a multidisciplinary Bioassay Development group and lead experiments, mentor junior staff, and drive project timelines in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a PhD or MSc with extensive experience in mammalian systems, potency assays, and collaboration across biologists,

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc with relevant research experience as stated.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and cell line engineering or transgenic models.
• Experience with at least two of the following techniques: qPCR, Western blot, plate-based assays (ELISA, fluorescence).

Responsibilities

• Initiate, design, and execute analytical experiments to develop and qualify relative potency methods for clinical molecules.
• Engineer novel cell lines to evaluate mechanism of action.
• Support mAb and bi/tri-specific development and other modalities.
• Maintain good documentation with electronic lab notebook.
• Ensure GMP compliance and draft SOPs as needed.
• Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams including biology, chemistry, quality and legal.
• Lead and contribute to presentations and publications; communicate findings clearly.
• Mentor interns and junior scientists; foster a collaborative environment.
• Collaborate with CROs/CDMOs for training and testing activities.
