Job summary

Wave Life Sciences seeks a Scientist II to advance bioanalytical and biomarker development in Lexington, MA. The role supports clinical programs by delivering robust bioanalytical data and reports for toxicology and PK studies, and by aiding target engagement analyses in preclinical settings.

The ideal candidate has a BS/MS with 8+ years in industry, hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS, MSD, ELISA, and nucleic acid assays, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced biotech startup environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS with 8+ years industry experience.
• Experience with oligo bioanalysis in biological matrices.
• Ability to transfer assays to CROs and manage CRO work.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify bioanalytical assays (LC-MS/MS, MSD, ELISA) for oligos.
• Analyze samples in blood, plasma, tissue; support tox, PK studies.
• Plan experiments and drive efficient assay development for studies.
• Transfer methods to CROs and supervise their work.
• Prepare clear experimental reports and data presentations.
