Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience operating bindery or finishing equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read job orders and interpret machine operation sequences.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate bindery machines such as cutters, folders, stitchers, and related finishing equipment.
• Monitor machine operation, quality, output and productivity; troubleshoot basic issues.
• Direct and train crew; ensure adherence to company policies and best practices.
• Read and interpret work orders and specifications, maintaining dimensional accuracy.
• Coordinate multiple workstations on a single machine and adjust for weight, color and stock quality.
• Maintain safety and equipment standards; inspect machinery for issues.
• Ensure proper spacing, tolerances and finishing requirements are met.
