Job summary

RRD in Smyrna, TN is seeking an experienced Bindery Technician to set up, adjust and operate a wide range of bindery and finishing machines, including inkjet, case making, folders, cutters, collators, stitchers and perfect binders, turning printed sheets into final books, catalogs or magazines.

You will inspect equipment for safety, coordinate multiple workstations, direct the crew through all production steps, monitor quality and productivity, and mentor new and existing staff to uphold company

Qualifications

• Read and interpret work orders and bindery specs.
• Calculate distances and fits for multi-machine setups.
• Adjust and maintain bindery machines for accuracy and efficiency.
• Understand paper stock quality and finishing requirements.

Responsibilities
