Job summary

RRD is seeking a Bindery Operator 1 (Cutter, Stitcher, or Folder) for 1st shift in Production & Manufacturing. You will set up, adjust and operate a variety of bindery machines to transform printed sheets into final books, catalogs, manuals, and more, coordinating multiple stations while ensuring accuracy and safety.

Strong candidates will be able to work with different paper weights, follow standard operating procedures, and train new staff.

Qualifications

• Experience operating bindery equipment and safety awareness.
• Ability to read job orders and perform adjustments for accuracy.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple machines and stations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate binding machines and related devices.
• Inspect machines and ensure safe operation and quality output.
• Direct crew and monitor productivity and quality.
• Provide training to new and existing staff on policies and best practices.
• Follow procedures for paper handling and finish processes.
