Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a senior BIM VDC leader to drive enterprise-level BIM initiatives across multiple projects, ensuring standardized processes and high-quality model delivery. This role focuses on governance, modeling, and coordination across teams.

You will oversee modeling in Revit, conduct clash detection, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and field teams to improve constructability and project outcomes. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM VDC platforms.
• Deep understanding of construction processes and electrical construction practices.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of BIM and VDC processes across projects and teams.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce BIM execution plans aligned with project requirements and industry standards.
• Oversee the development and management of detailed 3D models using Revit/Navisworks.
• Direct clash detection and coordination to resolve design conflicts and mitigate project risk.
• Facilitate coordination among stakeholders and collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Guide multiple BIM VDC projects concurrently, ensuring schedules and quality expectations are met.
• Apply VDC methodologies to enhance planning, sequencing, and construction execution.
