Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a BIM Operator III to join our BIM team on complex electrical construction projects. You will develop detailed 3D models and 2D installation drawings using Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Revu, ensuring accuracy and coordination with the design and field teams.

Remote work with strong focus on constructability, quality control, and adherence to CEI standards. A minimum of 3+ years BIM experience in electrical construction is required; excellent communication

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; college education in related field preferred.
3+ years in electrical construction industry with progressive BIM experience.
Experience with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and Bluebeam Revu is required.

Responsibilities

Develops comprehensive 3D models from redlines and construction documents.
Creates and maintains 2D installation drawings from 3D models.
Performs model population including conduits, trays, equipment, fixtures, and supports.
Manages documentation through printing, review, and publishing processes.
Maintains project setup and folder structures per CEI standards.
Executes quality control on models and drawings.
Uses BIM 360 interface for file management and issue tracking.
Performs clash detection and coordination reviews.
Communicates within the team regarding deliverables and technical needs.
