Job summary

Prism Electric seeks a Senior BIM Designer to develop 3D models in Revit from field layouts and drive BIM coordination across design/build projects. You will collaborate with the engineering and field teams to ensure accuracy, clash-free models, and on-time deliverables.

The role requires 8+ years CAD drafting in electrical construction, NEC knowledge, and strong communication. On-site position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years CAD drafting experience in Electrical Commercial Construction.
• Necessity of NEC knowledge and Revit proficiency.
• Experience with BIM budgets and coordination processes.

Responsibilities

• Build 3D models using field layouts in Revit and Navisworks.
• BIM coordination including clash detection and resolution.
• Upload models and follow GC BIM coordination process to Sign Off.
• Mentor BIM Designers and Detailers.
• Assist with BIM budgets across projects.
• Collaborate with engineering during design/build projects.
• Maintain Revit templates, details, and standards.
• Produce bill of materials for procurement and labor tracking.
