Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a BIM Operator III to develop 3D models and 2D drawings for complex electrical construction projects. You will collaborate with the constructability design team to ensure model accuracy, conduct constructability validation, and adhere to installation and documentation standards.

Reports to BIM Manager and works on remote-enabled assignments from Bowling Green, OH. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical BIM, strong Revit and Navisworks abilities, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electrical construction industry with progressive BIM experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; College education preferred.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Develops comprehensive 3D models from redlines and construction documents.
• Creates and maintains 2D installation drawings from 3D models.
• Performs model population including conduits, trays, equipment, fixtures, and supports.
• Manages documentation through printing, review, and publishing processes.
• Maintains project setup and folder structures per CEI standards.
• Executes quality control on models and drawings.
• Uses BIM 360 interface for file management and issue tracking.
• Performs clash detection and coordination reviews.
• Communicates within the team regarding deliverables and technical needs.
