Job summary

Prime Electric is seeking a BIM Coordinator to work under general supervision. The successful candidate will coordinate electrical installations using three-dimensional modeling and collaborate closely with construction teams.

Responsibilities include creating installation drawings and attending BIM meetings. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and possess related experience. Excellent benefits include full medical coverage at no cost to employees and a 401k program.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with multi-discipline plan reading.
• Ability to maintain document control and as-built conditions.

Responsibilities

• Create installation drawings for field installation.
• Attend and coordinate BIM/clash detection meetings.
• Produce clash-free and constructible models for installation.

Skills

Knowledge of electrical systems

Proficiency with Revit

Proficiency with AutoCAD

Strong computer skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
