Job summary

Adams Electric Company seeks a VDC/BIM Coordinator to oversee high-priority BIM projects. You will manage layout, input, coordination, and shop drawings, while collaborating with engineers and the Preconstruction Team to ensure project success.

Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, and Blue Beam is preferred. You will support onsite engineering, conduct clash detection, and help produce BIM deliverables and as-builts for assigned jobs.

Qualifications

• Two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Emphasis on problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Excellent computer skills; proficient in BIM software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all IPD and LOD meet contract requirements and owner satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest Revit and Navisworks systems.
• Coordinate all layout and design of electrical systems in accordance with contract documents and Electrical Code.
• Conduct thorough clash detection studies and communicate findings to the project team.
• Develop coordination studies and scheduling with other trades.
• Produce 3D models and BIM documents from BIM/3D models.
• Provide onsite project engineering for BIM projects and support field installation monitoring.
