Job summary

Tetra Tech seeks an experienced CAD Designer to support production across structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and OpenBuildings is valued, with on-the-job training offered.

Hybrid Bellevue office work possible, or remote within the United States. The candidate should have 5+ years CAD experience and 3+ years BIM software use, a meticulous eye for detail, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CAD experience in structural, mechanical, electrical or civil design.
• 3+ years of BIM software experience (Revit or OpenBuildings).
• Proficiency with BIM to develop 2D drawings from 3D models and to conform to client/jurisdiction standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation and related Bentley/Autodesk tools preferred.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and EA/USACE CAD standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Project Managers and design Engineers to ensure timely project completion within budgets.
• Assist engineering staff in developing complex preliminary and final designs of hydraulic structures.
• Analyze sketches and notes to plan best approach for drawings and models.
• Develop 3D models of project features using CADD software.
• Coordinate with CAD Manager to implement project CAD standards.
• Set up project drawings to conform to client standards.
• Maintain libraries for Product Schedules and Quantities reports.
