Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Architectural Designer II to join our production team. You will transform conceptual designs into detailed construction documents, supporting multidisciplinary project teams to ensure accuracy, code compliance, and constructability.

This hybrid role offers three days in the office in Seattle, Detroit, or Virginia Beach with up to two days remote. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in architectural design and production.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Working knowledge of architectural design production, drafting, and BIM-based project delivery.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Produce architectural drawings, building plans, sections, elevations, details, and BIM models through design and documentation.
• Develop interior layouts, schematic designs, and presentation graphics based on program requirements and standards.
• Coordinate architectural models with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines; incorporate consultant input.
• Apply building codes and design standards to project documentation and identify potential compliance concerns.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to support reviews and project delivery.
