Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Architectural Designer II to join our production team, with work sites in Detroit, Seattle, or Virginia Beach and a hybrid schedule.

You will transform concepts into construction documents, develop BIM models, and coordinate with MEP and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and code compliance.

This role requires a bachelor degree, 2+ years, proficiency in Revit and Adobe, and a collaborative mindset to support multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of professional architectural design and production experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Working knowledge of BIM-based project delivery and design production.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Produce architectural drawings, building plans, sections, elevations, details, and BIM models across design phases.
• Develop interior layouts, schematic designs, and presentation graphics based on program requirements and design standards.
• Perform site measurements and document existing conditions to support design development.
• Coordinate models and documents with MEP disciplines, incorporating consultant input and resolving conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and project standards.
• Prepare and maintain organized project drawings and deliverables per office standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, managers, and clients to support reviews and project delivery.
• Support multiple projects with meeting schedules and evolving practices.
