Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Structural BIM Designer to support our Architecture and Engineering unit. You will design, detail, and draft construction documents for projects across the U.S., using Revit and AutoCAD in collaboration with engineers and architects.

The role allows full-time remote or hybrid work (1–2 days in the office) from multiple U.S. locations, with potential overtime and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Technical education in civil/architectural engineering or equivalent experience.
• Revit certification is a plus (Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Structural Design).
• 3+ years of Revit drafting experience in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood with notes/details/schedules.
• Revit proficiency is required; develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models and coordinated cross-discipline work.
• AutoCAD is helpful but not mandatory; familiarity with MS Office and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD and Revit Structure to develop construction documents.
• Report to Structural Project Engineer and Structural Project Manager.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary team across design development and CD phases.
• Perform QA/QC of own work before final review by the Structural Project Engineer.
• Assist in maintaining task budgets.
• Other related responsibilities as necessary.
