Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Designer II to join our Architecture team. The role supports design to construction documents, collaborating across disciplines and developing BIM models and documentation.

The position may be based in Detroit, Seattle, or Virginia Beach with a hybrid schedule (three days in office, up to two remote days). The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field and 2+ years of design experience, proficiency in Revit and Adobe

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in architectural design.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Working knowledge of architectural design production, drafting, and BIM-based project delivery.
• Ability to produce accurate and organized architectural drawings and documentation.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record; US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Produce architectural drawings, building plans, sections, elevations, details, and BIM models.
• Develop interior layouts, schematic designs, and presentation graphics.
• Perform site measurements and document existing conditions for design development.
• Coordinate architectural models with disciplines and address design conflicts.
• Apply building codes and design standards to project documentation.
• Prepare and maintain project drawings and deliverables per office standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, PMs, consultants and stakeholders.
• Support multiple projects with adherence to schedules and quality.
