Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in billing, AR, or similar finance role, preferably energy/industrial services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Viewpoint) strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of billing, AR processes, and general accounting concepts.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication; able to work independently or in a team.
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit invoices to clients based on contracts, work orders and progress.
• Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve invoicing issues with clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, and accounting to gather billing documentation.
• Maintain organized billing records, including backup docs and logs.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to billing and AR.
• Process change orders and adjustments to invoices as needed.
• Monitor AR aging and assist with collections when necessary.
• Generate billing reports for management analysis.
• Ensure adherence to billing policies, procedures and controls.
• Stay informed of client-specific billing requirements and best practices.
• Provide support for audits and financial reviews.
