Responsibilities of the Senior Billing Specialist

• Order Processing: Enter and process daily sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Invoice Management: Generate invoices and credits, ensuring all billing is processed efficiently.
• Service Operations: Process service calls and RMAs and issue credits when applicable.
• Inventory Transactions: Handle all inventory transactions with precision.
• Service Contracts: Process service contracts by entering applicable information into the accounting system and generating customer billing.
• Month-End Activities: Monitor the month-end checklist and perform all necessary monthly billing activities.
• Compliance: Prepare quarterly internal controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, ensuring all processes adhere to regulatory standards.
• Customer Communication: Monitor the accounting inbox, responding to customers and internal employees or assigning emails to specific departments.
• Audit Support: Assist with audit and internal control requests, providing necessary documentation and information.

Experience Preferred

• 3-4+ years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or customer service positions, ideally in a role similar to Senior Billing Specialist.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete work accurately is crucial for a Senior Billing Specialist.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently with sound judgment, all essential skills for a Senior Billing Specialist.
