Job description

We work as a behavioral health partner for value-based care providers, joining forces with primary care practices, ACOs, and MCOs to develop innovative behavioral health care models. Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time RCM Consultant to join our team. This role is fully remote. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in medical billing, with a strong focus on primary care practice billing, including expertise in Chronic Care Management (CCM), Complex Chronic Care Management (CoCM), and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Billing Oversight and Optimization:
    • Review and optimize billing processes for primary care practices to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and underpayments.
    • Implement best practices for CCM, CoCM, and RPM billing to maximize revenue.
  2. Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure all billing practices adhere to Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer guidelines.
    • Maintain detailed documentation for CCM, CoCM, and RPM services to support audits and claims.
  3. Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to practice staff on billing procedures, coding, and documentation requirements.
    • Act as a resource for resolving complex billing and coding questions.
  4. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate and analyze billing reports to track revenue cycles, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing efficiency and revenue capture.
    • Conduct virtual consultations to assess billing operations and address practice-specific needs.
    • Build strong relationships with practice administrators and billing teams to ensure seamless collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in medical billing, with a focus on primary care practices.
  • Expertise in CCM, CoCM, and RPM billing programs.
  • Strong knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and payer guidelines.
  • Proficiency in billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
